New engine for Glenwood

    From the HME Fire Trucks Facebook page: Check out this impressive new addition to the Glenwood Fire Department in the Village of Glenwood, Illinois! This HME side-mount pumper is truly a workhorse. Built on an HME 1871-SFO custom chassis that allows for tight turns, it’s equipped with a powerful 2000-GPM HME Hydra Technology™ pump system, ensuring quick response times even in challenging situations. The truck also features a 750-gallon water tank, a corrosion-resistant pumper-style body, and cleverly designed storage solutions to keep everything organized and easily accessible. Special congratulations go out to Fire Chief Kevin Welsh and the entire Glenwood Fire Department team for bringing this state-of-the-art vehicle into service. It's clear they're committed to providing top-notch protection for their community.
